January 31, 2005 - 4TheBest eCommerce Solutions announced it will begin immediately selling and supporting QwkSoft's newly released QwkSwap module, which is a utility for Miva Merchant that allows the administrator to control the order that modules appear in the store.
QwkSwap is very useful in cases where you have a series of modules installed in the store but you need a certain module to be called before another module when Miva Merchant does the normal API calls to the modules of that type.
For example this allows you to make it so that your Check module displays it's payment methods before or after the credit card with simple validation module does, thus letting you control the order of the methods without having to uninstall and reinstall modules, which is often impractical especially when it might require deleting all the current orders.
Another great use for the module is in making sure that modules that send out emails go out in a certain order so that the higher priority ones go first. Or that system extension modules that trigger on the same interrupts get triggered in the order you wish so that if one of them might cause an abort that you can decide whether the other modules should get executed anyway or not.
