QwkTracker - Traffic Origination And Conversion Tracking System Module
Current Module Release: 1.58
For Sale Via ModuleStore.com
Miva Merchant Compatibility: 2.22 to 4.23
QwkTracker allows a merchant to track the traffic coming into their store starting with where it came from and tracking it through the shopping process. The system can help a merchant determine if they are spending their money wisely on pay-per-click advertising such as Overture, Google, and Miva Marketplace or non-pay-per-click links from friends, associates, business partners, or advertising campaigns. QwkTracker helps merchant determine who is most effective in sending traffic to their site, which referring links translate to more sales, and where in the shopping experience they may be losing sales.
Features/Advantages
Tracks Pay-Per-Click and Non-Pay-Per-Click Traffic
You can use QwkTracker with most traffic generation services such as Overture, Google, FindWhat, Sprinks, Kanoodle, Ah-Ha, and Miva Marketplace. QwkTracker also works great with link sharing systems, banner ads, web rings, or any other systems that direct traffic to your site.
Compatible with Miva's Affiliate Module
QwkTracker also works with Miva Merchant's built in affiliate system and can give you very powerful and useful information about the traffic your affiliates are sending you.
Compatible with third party tracking variables
QwkTracker has a built in variable mapping feature that lets you tell it to use the values of variables already being sent to your site that you have set-up for other third party software. You can quickly and easily configure the software to for example use the affiliate code of a third party affiliate module. Or add a few lines to the variable mappings and enable your "Overture Tracking Urls" and have all your traffic from overture automatically tracked without needing to manually change a single url.
Fights Fraudulent Traffic Charges
The tracking information provided by QwkTracker can be used to help you spot fraudulent traffic you may be paying for that you shouldn't be paying for. Most systems/services that direct traffic to your site claim to prevent wasted clicks from the same shopper, and protect against competitors or hackers that may be clicking your links to drive up your costs. QwkTracker arms you with the data on the traffic that you can use to spot such fraud and the data that your traffic generation service will need to help stop you from being charged for it.
Provides Shopping Experience Traffic Data
Even if you aren't using any pay-per-click services QwkTracker can still give you important data on your traffic. It can indicate to you where in the shopping process the shopper is leaving and thus clue you in to places where your store may need some work, or your polices (such as shipping charges) may need to be adjusted.
Works with HTML Landing Pages
QwkTracker works even if you want your pay-per-click traffic to land on a static html page rather than inside your Miva Merchant store. The system does this by linking the traffic to the Miva Merchant store in a special way that allows the visitor to be transferred seamlessly from the Miva Merchant software to a local or remote URL of your choice without stopping the browser's back button from working. This ability to redirect your traffic without breaking the functionality of the browser's back button is critical because the top pay-per-click services such as Overture will not allow you to use links that break the back button.
Special support for tracking traffic to static HTML Pages
QwkTracker has special code that supports tracking from static html pages using separate redirection software such as QwkRed. The combination can be used to allow you to track where traffic came from that came to your site via your own static html pages. And even work to track the traffic path if the static pages are hosted on a completely different domain or web server. For more info contact us.
Reporting
All of the data generated by the system is easily viewed in reports that you can configure based on the start and end date/time, sources, and keywords, and the reports can be displayed as html tables or in various delimited text formats for fast and easy use in third party spreadsheet or database software. Reports come in two types, summary reports that have the numbers crunched for you and are easy to read and great for seeing trends, and raw reports that have more granular detail. The same filtering by start and end date/time, sources, and keywords can be used for deleting old, irrelevant, or unwanted data quickly and easily.
